NiMAC is excited to launch the NiMAC Z Series, our new range of Zinc Dialkyl Dithiophosphate (ZDDP) additives.
These versatile Extreme Pressure (EP) and Antiwear (AW) additives deliver wear protection, antioxidant performance, friction reduction, and corrosion inhibition across a wide range of lubricants. Applications include engine oils, industrial gear oils, hydraulic fluids, and greases.
Available in primary alkyl, secondary alkyl, and mixed grades, with optimized zinc, phosphorus, and sulfur content, the Z Series ensures reliable performance for every formulation. Mineral oil-free options are also available for modern formulations, including water-miscible metalworking fluids.

As part of our expanding Additive Portfolio, NiMAC is pleased to be able to introduce its new range of Zinc Dialkyl DithioPhosphates (ZDDP), the NiMAC Z Series.
These Extreme Pressure/Antiwear additives are used across the spectrum of lubricant formulations, where they also impart antioxidant, friction reduction and corrosion inhibition benefits. ZDDPs are used in many applications, including Industrial formulations such as Hydraulic Fluids, Industrial Gear Oils and Greases, as well as automotive applications such as Engine Oils.
NiMAC is able to offer a variety of grades, including primary alkyl as well as mixed primary/secondary alkyl grades with optimized Zinc, Sulphur and Phosphorous content to support performance across all application areas. Mineral Oil free versions allow formulators to introduce this performance to mineral oil free developments and water miscible metalworking fluids.

Features
- Combines the eradication of contamination with long term protection.

- Can be used for diesel fuels, kerosene and heating oils.
- The partitioning characteristics ensures its presence in both the fuel and the water phase.

NiMAC can now offer NSF HX1 overbased calcium sulphonates in both USP white oil and polyalphaolefins. These sulphonates are typically used to formulate NSF H1 high temperature greases and as an additive for lubricants designed for food processing machinery. They can also be used in anti-corrosive coatings, as a detergent or dispersant additive, rust/corrosion inhibitor, and acid neutraliser in industrial lubricating oils.

Nimac is continually expanding our portfolio and the Polylub ITS is a new addition to our range. It is a saturated long chain fatty acid ester that provides excellent metal adhesion and a low friction tribofilm. It may be used as a lubricity additive or friction modifier for a broad range of metalworking applications.
With a high flash point, low odour, excellent lubricity and excellent hydrolytic stability it is used in both oil-based and water-based metalworking fluid applications.
For greases it contributes improved cold flow properties, lower volatility, good thermal stability, low noise level, good air release and water separation.
Iso-tridecyl stearate is typically used as a lubricity improver in steel, copper and aluminium rolling applications

NiMAC ADTC is an NSF HX1 and HX2 registered ashless, multifunctional component for lubricating greases, oils and metalworking fluids and can be used as an EP, antiwear and antioxidant additive. NiMAC ADTC is suited for the formulation of low metal and ashless lubricants and being LUSC listed is suitable for use in biodegradable lubricants.

The local newspaper, the Express & Star, recently put out an urgent request asking the community and local businesses for their help and support in supplying desperately needed PPE for Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge, to protect their patients and staff during the coronavirus pandemic.
With knowledge of the excellent work that the Mary Stevens Hospice undertakes, NIMAC were honoured to be able to support the locally based charity by donating critically needed hand sanitiser.
